General Security

General security includes safety risks linked to product design, system design and execution, as well as potential internal and external malevolent actors that can harm your products and systems. According to the Repository of Industrial Security Incidents (RISI), 20% of industrial security incidents are caused by internal or external malevolent actions.

General security can be defined as the capacity to ensure adequate protection and prevention protocols against all types of risks and threats, under conditions that prioritize seamless development and collective/individual activities.

Radio Alert System

● Assessed maintenance of security and human elements during the implementation of new radio alert and warning light signals for the French Railway Network
● Applied the GALE approach (Globally at Least as Equivalent) to identify risks linked to the content of new protocols proposed by the working group (SNCF, RFF, EPSF) and assessed acceptability of potential risks.
● Two primary risks were present that required joint evaluation to estimate the “transfer” of risks caused by the new procedural document: collision, derailment, and crashes; risks incurred during a prolonged stop along open track (passenger evacuation).
● Security and impact studies of this procedural change on the Autonomous Operator of Parisian Transports (RATP) interoperated with the SNCF
